2017: The best year in music?

2017 has been one of the greatest years in music in a long time from triumphant returns from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Stormzy, Giggs, Kendrick Lamar and Jay Z, Big KRIT, and the phenomenal album from Chris Brown. Whilst most artists came back glorious after a long spell off, some artists proved 2017 was not the year for them, like Eminem whose album Revival is still splitting fans whether it is classic Eminem or if he is washed up.

It has been 7 years since we have heard a full NERD project, with Pharrell growing into one of the biggest artists in the world, including creating a single which is due to be released in 100 years, how much time does Pharrell have for NERD now?

As 2017 comes to close, we reflect on what has possibly the best year in some time for music. We are in the final weeks of December and arguably the biggest hip-hop album has dropped.

Eminem Revival was released on 15^th December, making sure it will be on your kids Christmas list this year (if they still do lists) so, is the album worth the listen?

Short answer, yes. Eminem has given plenty of great music of the years, so I feel he always deserve to be listened too, however, the replay value and content of some of the songs are not up to Eminem’s level.
