Sneakbo – Brixton (Album Review)

Grime has grown into one of the biggest genres in recent years and has gone from only appearing on Channel U, to now appearing on most music channels imaginable throughout the UK. Who do we have to thank for the rise of Grime, is it the self-proclaimed Godfather Wiley? Maybe Kano for his debut album Home Sweet Home, which I still rate as one of the best albums ever. Maybe, Stormzy has helped, from going from a park to winning 2 BRIT awards. All these names are worthy mentions, however, listening to Sneakbo’s debut album “Brixton” Sneakbo feels he deserves to be mentioned.

Nipsey Hussle – Victory Lap

Now, I am a relatively new Nipsey fan. When I was going through YouTube and I heard the lead single “Rap N*****” I knew this guy was talented. I then saw the other single “Last Time I checc’d” Ft YG and knew that I had slept on this guy’s talent.

G-Eazy – The Beautiful & Damned - ALBUM REVIEW

Usually, a G-Eazy album is something I wouldn’t find myself looking forward to hearing, however with the successful single rollouts with the A$AP Rocky and Cardi B featured “No Limits” single and the recently released “Him and I” Featuring Halsey, the singles released have been getting a lot of play from myself, leading to the anticipation of this album.

NERD No_One Ever Really Dies Album Review, are they back to there best?

NERD have been a longstanding necessity in Hip-Hop. The sound of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley are always something to be hyped. From the earlier sounds like “Rockstar” in 2001 to the latest single “Lemonade” featuring the long-awaited Rihanna and Pharrell collaboration we have waited for, NERD is always something needed by the culture of music. It has been 7 years since we have heard a full NERD project, with Pharrell growing into one of the biggest artists in the world, including creating a single which is due to be released in 100 years, how much time does Pharrell have for NERD now?

Will the Real Slim Shady, Please Stand Up?

As 2017 comes to close, we reflect on what has possibly the best year in some time for music. We are in the final weeks of December and arguably the biggest hip-hop album has dropped.

Eminem Revival was released on 15th December, making sure it will be on your kids Christmas list this year (if they still do lists) so, is the album worth the listen?

Short answer, yes. Eminem has given plenty of great music of the years, so I feel he always deserve to be listened too, however, the replay value and content of some of the songs are not up to Eminem’s level.
