So, here we are. After the announcement a few weeks ago
Cardi B would be dropping her new album “Invasion of Privacy” a lot of people
in the music industry and on social media have been arguing back and forth
about if Cardi is a one-hit-wonder, or if she has plenty more in the stash.
Well, I am here to tell you, Bodak Yellow is not the last you will hear of
Cardi.

Sneakbo – Brixton (Album Review)
Grime has grown into one of the biggest genres in recent
years and has gone from only appearing on Channel U, to now appearing on most
music channels imaginable throughout the UK. Who do we have to thank for the rise
of Grime, is it the self-proclaimed Godfather Wiley? Maybe Kano for his debut
album Home Sweet Home, which I still rate as one of the best albums ever.
Maybe, Stormzy has helped, from going from a park to winning 2 BRIT awards. All
these names are worthy mentions, however, listening to Sneakbo’s debut album “Brixton” Sneakbo feels he deserves to be
mentioned.

Nipsey Hussle – Victory Lap
Now,
I am a relatively new Nipsey fan. When I was going through YouTube and I heard
the lead single “Rap N*****” I knew this guy was talented. I then saw the
other single “Last Time I checc’d” Ft YG and knew that I had slept on this guy’s
talent.

Devvon Terrell – Weird Nights - Album Review
Now, first
of all, I am extremely late on this one but, this deserved to be talk about.
Devvon Terrell is not an artist I know much about, but one that I shall definitely
be keeping an ear towards from now on. Having heard his song “Temperature” on the Joe Budden podcast,
thanks to Rory Farrell choosing this as the sleeper’s song of the week, I was
instantly hooked and knew I need more of this.

Justin Timberlake – Filthy (Single/Video Review)
Well, what a way to start 2018. We expected a brand-new
Justin Timberlake album, with the announcement of him performing at SuperBowl
later on in the year. The question was when he would release the music, and information
is now being released to us. With the announcement that his new album “Man of
the Woods” being announced via a video stating the album is his most “personal”
album yet and reflects on his hometown and family life. Are these the cliché analogies
we associate whenever we hear an artist state he has a new album?
